
Prime Minister Anutin presents New Year 2026 greeting cards expressing care and encouragement to Thai people and frontline personnel, while opening seven collection points for the public to send items and greeting cards to those on the front lines.
At 1:00 p.m. on 23 December 2025 GMT+7, Siripong Angkasakulkiat, spokesperson for the Office of the Prime Minister, held a press conference at Government House following a Cabinet meeting, noting that the coming week marks the New Year festival period. Prime Minister and Minister of Interior Anutin Charnvirakul has sent New Year 2026 greeting cards to fellow Thais containing the message: "On the occasion of the New Year 2026, I send my care and encouragement to all fellow citizens."
On the same occasion, the Prime Minister has also sent greeting cards to those serving on the front lines. The message reads: "On the occasion of the New Year 2026, I send my care and encouragement to soldiers and frontline personnel in the seven border provinces between Thailand and Cambodia."
Siripong further stated he hopes these greeting cards will provide encouragement to those on duty and to all Thai citizens. He also shared that many citizens have expressed a desire to send support to frontline workers in various forms, whether through sending items or messages via greeting cards. The Prime Minister's Office spokesperson has compiled locations where everyone can send their well-wishes to frontline personnel.
