Election 2026: The Election Commission (EC) summarizes the number of people registered for advance and overseas voting over three days, totaling more than 300,000.
On 23 Dec 2025, the Election Commission (EC) reported the number of voters registered for advance and overseas voting on 22 Dec 2025, the third day of registration. It found that a total of 109,366 eligible voters applied to register for advance voting, including in-district, out-of-district, and overseas registrations.
Among them, 229 were in-district registrants who are officials assigned to work on election day; 101,045 registered for out-of-district voting; and 8,092 registered for overseas voting. Since the registration opened on 20 Dec 2025, a total of 314,821 voters have registered for advance and overseas voting.
Registration for advance and overseas voting can be done through three channels: in person at local registrar offices, district offices, all 50 district offices in Bangkok, or embassies; by postal service; and online, available 24 hours a day. The registration period runs from 20 Dec 2025 to 5 Jan 2026.
