The Pracha Chart Party is preparing to field candidates in 15 electoral districts across the three southern border provinces, focusing on equality and drug problem solutions. The party is confident that its party-list vote will double in this election.
On 23 Dec 2025 GMT+7, Pol. Col. Tawee Sodsong, leader of the Pracha Chart Party, revealed that in the 2026 election the party expects to win 10 to 14 district seats in the three southern border provinces and nearby provinces. The party aims to address the country’s problems deeply and effectively, with policies to be announced on 25 Dec 2025 GMT+7. These policies will focus on helping people from the southernmost to the northernmost areas, tackling international scammers, and raising the GDP of the three southern border provinces by 10 percent. The party emphasizes equality under the rule of law and justice, stressing that border drug problems must be eliminated.
Pol. Col. Tawee said the party will field candidates in only 15 districts within the three southern border provinces, selecting only the best candidates for these seats. In the previous election, the party won two party-list seats; this time they believe they will double that number.
Regarding confidence in winning district seats, Wan Muhamad Nor Matha, a key figure in the Pracha Chart Party, said he is more confident than in the last election. Previously, they had to compete against state and military power; this time, the competition will be against money power. However, he believes morality will prevail over injustice. The candidates chosen are trusted by the people and will fight money power with a sincere heart for the public.
When asked about his election outlook, Wan Muhamad Nor said that the country has awaited true democracy for many years. In the upcoming election, there will be no senators voting for the prime minister. Therefore, the voters will effectively be choosing their own government. The country's future depends on the 2026 election.
He cited soldiers fighting along the border, saying these people die for the nation and democracy—not for money. He challenged the public to support Thailand by rejecting money power and refusing to elect corrupt representatives to parliament. Regarding the party’s prime ministerial candidate, no announcement has been made yet; discussions and meetings will be held to decide.
