Pitipong, leader of the Pentharm Party, points out that the Thai-Cambodian border issue must be resolved in this generation, stressing the need to win both on the battlefield and in the international arena.
On 24 Dec 2025 GMT+7, Mr. Pitipong Temcharoen, leader of the Pentharm Party, discussed the approach to resolving the Thai-Cambodian border issue if his party were to govern the country. He believes this problem should be settled during the current generation and emphasized that the victor is the one who sets the rules. Therefore, Thailand must prevail in the “war game,” which includes two dimensions: military victory and success on the global stage. He stated this as the primary objective.
Mr. Pitipong emphasized that the government must act to permanently uphold Thailand’s sovereignty, refusing to cede any territory, and must preserve what belongs to the nation. Additionally, it must identify those responsible for causing the conflict or war and hold them accountable for the impacts on the Thai people, territory, and national lands.
Mr. Pitipong further stated that he is committed to pushing for the government of Hun Sen to be prosecuted as war criminals, affirming that this must truly be achieved.
