The Thai Khao Mai Party unveiled its prime minister candidates, highlighting Dr. Ae Suchatvee and Khun Ying Kalaya, declaring an end to tolerance, poverty, and stagnation. They warned that if traditional politics persists, Bangkok will experience 100% flooding.
On 24 Dec 2025 GMT+7, the Thai Khao Mai Party introduced two prime minister candidates for the 2026 election: Mr. Suchatvee Suwansawat, or Dr. Ae, the party leader, as the first candidate, and Khun Ying Kalaya Sophonpanich, party advisory chairperson, as the second candidate.
Mr. Suchatvee said he is proud to have joined the Thai Khao Mai family, noting that few Thais have the opportunity to volunteer as candidates both on party lists and in constituencies. He said those present today represent one in a hundred thousand Thais and, as party leader and prime minister candidate, he will not let anyone down.
Mr. Suchatvee stated that during his first debate on Thairath TV yesterday, where he had two minutes to introduce the party, reviewing the clip shows that the Thai Khao Mai leader spoke confidently and unmatched by others. He emphasized that the party, composed of globally educated and skilled individuals, is the top party for the Thai people.
He added that if voters continue choosing the same people and politics, the country will remain stuck in the same cycle. However, if they choose Thai Khao Mai, Bangkok will definitely not flood. If they keep choosing the old parties and faces, Bangkok will be 100% flooded. He stressed that regardless of who becomes Bangkok governor, they are ready to support, but asked voters to choose Thai Khao Mai as the entire team of MPs. Their goal is 'New Step, Strong Thailand,' aiming to restructure the entire system and make Thailand's economy strong and globally competitive again.
Meanwhile, Khun Ying Kalaya, a prime minister candidate, expressed her deep emotion and speechlessness. She said she was born in a rural area and could not choose her birth but could choose who she becomes. She emphasized that education is invaluable and encouraged everyone who has not wasted their birthright as Thais to join Thai Khao Mai. She vowed that the next election must be different and that together they will lead the country beyond its crisis. She described their volunteer group as the flagbearers to help Thailand overcome crises through human capital and compete globally with Thai Khao Mai.
The party then introduced candidates for both constituency and party list elections nationwide, fielding 100 party list candidates including Khun Ying Kalaya Sophonpanich, Mr. Kongkiat Kornsut, Ms. Jitpassorn Kridakorn, Mr. Worawit Kamphu Na Ayutthaya, Mr. Chakraphan Pornnimit, Mr. Kanet Wangpaichit, Mr. Sujinda Sengpaisan, Mr. Pongpan Yodmuangjaroen, Mr. Yusri Kodiri, Mr. Datchakorn Tancharoen, Mr. Sak Thappli, Mr. Kitti Wongkulab, and Mr. Nattawat Buranakanok.
