Wan Yoobamrung Leaves Palang Pracharath Party, Takes Break from Running for MP, Thanks Gen. Prawit for Support

Wan Yoobamrung posted a farewell to the Palang Pracharath Party, stating he will submit his resignation to the Election Commission on 25 Dec 2025 and announced he will take a break from running for MP this time, thanking Gen. Prawit for his continued support.

On 24 Dec 2025, Wan Yoobamrung, member of the Palang Pracharath Party (PPRP), posted on his personal Facebook stating: "As it has been reported that General Prawit Wongsuwan, leader of the Palang Pracharath Party, announced his withdrawal from the prime minister candidacy, which we all can probably understand the true meaning of, given the situation. Under these circumstances, I cannot continue. On 25 Dec 2025, I will go to the Election Commission to resign from the Palang Pracharath Party membership and take a break from running for MP in this election."

From now on, I will take time to rest and be with my family. I wish all Palang Pracharath Party MP candidates the best. Politics requires a long-term view. I hope to meet again in the future. I sincerely thank Uncle Pom (Gen. Prawit) for his continuous care and support.”

Earlier, Wan posted a political signal message: “When life reaches a turning point,” two days ago. There were also photos of Wan sitting and talking with Jatuporn Buruspat, leader of the New Opportunity Party. Jatuporn acknowledged that Wan showed interest in the party’s policies, attracting attention about possible collaboration. Wan then posted about his political decision today.
