Sirikanaya unveiled the Peoples Party's policy blueprint for the 2026 election, including a 'Half-Half' subsidy program for 12 million people, an 8-baht subway fare, and rental assistance for 1.5 million households.
On 25 December 2025, Ms. Sirikanaya Tansakul, Deputy Leader of the Peoples Party, launched the campaign policies through the "Orange Unboxing" video clip. The plan is divided into four key parts, beginning with the first 100 days focusing on a strict crackdown on shadow capital and phantom accounts. Additionally, 1,000 baht will be credited to 12 million people through the 'Half-Half' program to stimulate SME sales.
The deputy party leader further explained that the first-year budget plan prioritizes universal welfare, such as increased subsidies for young children and elderly allowances. It also includes cost-of-living measures like starting subway fares at 8 baht and providing rental assistance to 1.5 million households. The mega-projects will focus on improving local quality of life, including water supply systems, electric buses, and waste management. The party aims to inject an additional 200 billion baht into local governments within four years to distribute wealth nationwide. Over a full term, the party plans to develop new industries, such as medical devices and defense technology, with a total investment of 650 billion baht.
Ms. Sirikanaya emphasized that Thailand cannot compete globally without eradicating corruption. Therefore, the party announced the "End of Under-the-Table Money" policy to abolish all forms of bribes and fees and implement an online license application system. Moreover, they introduced the "Corrupt Officials Exposed" law to incentivize whistleblowers with special sentence reductions. The public can review the full policy details on the party's website election69.peoplesparty.or.th starting from 25 December at 17:00 GMT+7.
