“Supamas-Eknat” Lead BKK MPs Candidates of Bhumjaithai Party with Policies on “Khon La Khrueng Plus” and Security

“Supamas and Eknat” lead the Bhumjaithai Party’s Bangkok MP candidates for the 2026 election, promoting the continuation of “Khon La Khrueng Plus” and affirming it is not populism, along with national security policies. They declared their work over two months has proven they do not just talk but show results.

At 06:43 on 27 December 2025 GMT+7, reporters reported that the Bhumjaithai Party gave an interview to Thairath TV after arriving at Venue 2 of the Thai-Japanese Stadium in Din Daeng, Bangkok, led by Ms. Supamas Isarapakdi and Mr. Eknat Phonpan as the election leaders for Bangkok. Along with all 33 Bangkok MP candidates, they said, “We are not just one person; we have prime ministerial candidates, campaign assistants such as Ms. Supajee Sutamphan, Mr. Ekniti Nititanprapas, and many others helping with the campaign. We want Bangkokians and Thai people to see that these people still choose Bhumjaithai. Please have confidence as this is a preliminary guarantee showing sincerity.”

Mr. Eknat stated the campaign’s strength lies in sincere efforts and over 100% commitment. It is rare in history for a political party to announce in advance their vice prime minister candidate. He emphasized, “We say and do plus; we don’t sell dreams.” They fully disclosed how they will act and who will do it. He believes this time they come with great sincerity, openly sharing everything. They have already worked for 73 days, and from now on, if returned, they have even clearer plans.

Meanwhile, Ms. Supamas reiterated that this election is different from previous ones; it is the first time the public can see post-election results. Anyone can write or talk about policies, but in the past two months, such as with Khon La Khrueng Plus, it directly reached the people. Regarding border issues, they have capable people like Mr. Sihasak Puangketkaew, Bhumjaithai’s prime ministerial candidate and Minister of Foreign Affairs, managing these matters. Fighting on the global stage is crucial, and people believe they can actually do it, not just talk but show results.

Regarding the two main policies, Ms. Supamas highlighted the economic policy continuation and expansion: Khon La Khrueng Plus, which is not populism but improves people's quality of life and reduces expenses. The other is national security policy, concerning all Thai people. They must protect the institutions of the nation, religion, and monarchy.

When asked why voters should choose Bhumjaithai, Mr. Eknat said their candidates are diverse, including veterans, newcomers, former MPs from the Pheu Thai Party, and many others. They present experienced candidates for the people.

When asked about Bhumjaithai’s seat target in Bangkok, Ms. Supamas said everyone sets targets but they cannot disclose theirs today. They want candidates to first visit constituencies and present policies to the public. She confirmed they do have targets but stressed that Bhumjaithai is not just about one person; each candidate has followers, and they work as a team.

Asked whether losing seats in Bangkok is unacceptable, Ms. Supamas said when running in elections, they do not think about losing but only winning and doing their best. They do not compete against others but against themselves. They have already seen who is ready to work and are trying to recruit professionals. So, when these people choose Bhumjaithai, they see what they want to serve the country, and everyone hopes to work for the nation. She emphasized they offer the best to the public and believe they will be one of Bangkok voters’ choices.

Regarding whether Mr. Ekniti and Ms. Supajee will help campaign in Bangkok, Ms. Supamas confirmed it is certain, as both are legal campaign assistants.
