Mr. Suriya said the Pheu Thai Party is well-prepared for the 8 Feb 2026 election. Khon Kaen and all provinces in the Northeast are key areas where the public supports Pheu Thai. The party has fielded candidates in all 11 districts of Khon Kaen and is confident that with effective campaigning, Pheu Thai candidates will win at least nine seats. As the party’s prime ministerial candidate, he affirmed that if elected, Pheu Thai representatives will develop Khon Kaen’s economy, society, and politics to restore its prosperity and make it a key hub in the Northeast.
“In the past, although Pheu Thai candidates won in all 11 districts, about 20% of incumbents later failed to be re-elected due to competition from new candidates from various parties. This time, the party has carefully selected good new candidates, and we believe they will receive strong public support and meet our goals.”
