“Korn and Ice Cream” Lead MP Candidates Registering in Songkhla Constituencies

The first day of registration for constituency-based MP candidates in Songkhla province was lively, with many supporters coming to cheer. Korn and Ice Cream led the team of MPs registering.

On 27 Dec 2025 GMT+7, a reporter reported that at 08:30 at the Srikietphat Building of the Songkhla Provincial Administrative Organization, the atmosphere for the first day of MP constituency candidate registration in Songkhla was lively from early morning, with candidates from various political parties arriving continuously to submit applications amid large numbers of supporters and backers.

Officials at the registration units organized and facilitated candidates strictly according to procedures. Mr. Thanakrit Nakcharupong, director of the Songkhla Provincial Election Commission Office, said the registration was conducted smoothly, transparently, and fairly.

So far on the first morning, no problems or disturbances have been reported. It is expected that more candidates will submit documents in the coming days, intensifying the political competition in Songkhla province.

Today, Mr. Korn Jatikavanich, deputy leader of the Democrat Party and prime ministerial candidate, led the team of prospective MP candidates to register. Meanwhile, Mr. Parit Wacharasindhu, known as Ice Cream, spokesperson for the Prachachon Party, also led his team of prospective MP candidates to register.
