Election 2026: Thairath is live broadcasting the Election Commission's first day of registration for party-list MPs, alongside prime ministerial candidates. Political parties are eagerly awaiting their number draws before campaigning. Sereepisuth, leader of the Seri Ruam Thai Party, has already arrived.
On 28 December 2025 GMT+7, reporters noted that today marks the second day of registration for constituency-based Members of Parliament (MPs), but the first day for party-list MP registration, where parties can submit up to 100 names. At the same time, parties will also submit their prime ministerial candidate lists at the Vayupak Conference Room, Centra Government Complex Hotel.
Meanwhile, Thairath is on-site providing live reports and hosting discussions with political parties, prime ministerial candidates, and party-list nominees. Parties arriving first will be assigned their order of submission. At 08:30, the Election Commission will officially open submissions for party-lists and prime ministerial candidates. If multiple parties arrive early and fail to agree on the order, a lottery will determine the sequence for drawing party numbers. Once assigned, parties will immediately begin campaigning. Before 06:00, Police General Sereepisuth Thameevawes, leader of the Seri Ruam Thai Party, had already arrived. It was also reported that the Thai Chana Party arrived as early as 04:00.
