At 8:30 a.m. on 28 December 2025 GMT+7, reporters reported from the Wayuphak meeting room at Centara Life Hotel, the first day for party list MP candidate registration. Political party leaders gradually arrived at the venue to draw party list candidate numbers after completing document verification on the 5th floor. A total of 52 parties had registered.

The first party to register was "New Dimension Party" followed by "People’s Party" and "New Life Party." After the number draw, parties proceeded to pay the registration fee of 10,000 baht per list MP candidate, payable either in cash or bank transfer as specified. Then they moved to the application issuance point, and finally submitted their campaign policies and the list of prime ministerial candidates for each party. Each party may submit up to three names or choose not to submit any.

By 8:30 a.m., the draw had not started because 37 parties were still undergoing document verification.

At 10:30 a.m., the party number draw began. The People’s Party was 19th in order, and Mr. Natthapong Rueangpanyawut, leader of the People’s Party and prime ministerial candidate, drew number 46.

After the draw, Mr. Natthapong Rueangpanyawut prepared to campaign immediately. From 3:30 to 4:15 p.m., he planned a vehicle parade around Muang Thong Thani to Tiwanon Road, ending at Wat Ku Market. Then from 4:30 to 5:30 p.m., he would campaign by distributing leaflets at Wat Ku Market in Pak Kret District, Nonthaburi.
