Bhumjaithai Party Plans Major Campaign in Southern Thailand Phiphat Reports Strong Support

Phiphat revealed that Anutin is preparing to lead a large Bhumjaithai Party campaign to seek votes from southern residents, reporting positive reception and confidence in winning no fewer than 31 constituencies.

On 28 December 2025, Mr. Phiphat Ratchakitprakarn, deputy leader of the Bhumjaithai Party and head of the party's southern region, spoke about their first campaign rally for the 2026 election held in Nakhon Si Thammarat. He said that from the initial rally in Thung Song district, the atmosphere among local residents and people of Nakhon Si Thammarat felt different compared to the 2019 and 2023 elections. For the 8 February 2026 election, the people of Nakhon Si Thammarat appear to accept the Bhumjaithai Party's work since 2019.

Therefore, he is confident that Nakhon Si Thammarat, which fields candidates in all nine constituencies, will elect representatives to serve the people there. Everything will demonstrate the Bhumjaithai Party's achievements since joining the coalition government in 2019 up to the present, with Mr. Anutin Charnvirakul now serving as Prime Minister.

Mr. Phiphat expressed confidence that the Bhumjaithai Party's current momentum surpasses that of the past and believes that in the 14 southern provinces, the party will secure at least 31 seats out of 59 constituencies across the region.

Regarding the campaign strategy for the south moving forward, the southern campaign leader of Bhumjaithai said that as the party's appointed lead for the 2026 election campaign, he has informed team members in all provinces to be ready to appear on stage across all 14 southern provinces. Furthermore, during the final stretch of campaigning, senior party leaders including Mr. Anutin, the executive committee, and party elders will lead major rallies throughout all 14 southern provinces. Currently, Prime Minister Anutin has confirmed he will campaign and speak in support across southern areas.
