
The Ruamthai Sangchat Party has unveiled three candidates for prime minister: Peeraphan, Attawit, and Naraphat, including the party leader and deputy leaders, showcasing their distinctive achievements in various fields.

Regarding Mr. Peeraphan Saleerathwipak, the chief strategist of Ruamthai Sangchat and the party's number one prime ministerial candidate, he is not only highly knowledgeable but also has numerous accomplishments in law and anti-corruption efforts. These include pushing the Unfair Contract Terms Act (1997), investigating the fake organic fertilizer corruption case (resulting in court convictions), reviewing the SME Bank building procurement saving the state over 400 million baht, pursuing the 6.2 billion baht highway loss case leading to victory, reviving the Hopewell case protecting over 30 billion baht of public funds, and resolving the 25 billion baht Akara gold mine dispute, among others.
Meanwhile, Mr. Attawit Suwanpakdee, deputy leader of Ruamthai Sangchat and the party's second prime ministerial candidate, is a young administrator with a strong foundation in both law and economics from world-class institutions. His tangible achievements include drafting various laws aimed at benefiting Thai citizens by reducing corporate dominance.
His notable work includes drafting the "Excise Tax Act (No. 2)" (Ruamthai Liquor), supporting processed agricultural products allowing production of light liquor, successfully ending long-standing monopolies; initiating the "Credit Business Act" draft (credit bureau reform) for the public sector to increase fair access to loans and tackle informal debt; drafting the "Solar Energy Promotion Act" to remove the permit requirement for solar power production and collaborating on affordable Thai-made solar equipment; drafting the first comprehensive "Industrial Waste Management Act" for hazardous waste disposal; and drafting the "Palm Oil Industry Promotion Act" to establish a system ensuring farmers receive fair shares from palm oil products.
At the same time, Mr. Naraphat Kaewthong, deputy leader of Ruamthai Sangchat and the party's third prime ministerial candidate, believes that modern politics must embrace "innovation" and "creativity" to transform the old world to keep pace with the new. His policy perspective focuses on strengthening the grassroots economy to improve citizens’ quality of life.
His standout achievements include promoting the "customized fertilizer" project to use fertilizer tailored to soil conditions, accelerating potassium use to reduce fertilizer costs and farmers’ expenses; advocating for stepped weirs in the Yom River basin to slow water flow; proposing solutions to floods and droughts through retention areas in every province; employing solar cell systems for water distribution; transitioning traditional agriculture to "commercial agriculture"; establishing Young Smart Farmer programs for "high-value agriculture" (Agri-Tech); and expediting and monitoring permits for land use or residence in national reserved forests and land reform areas under the Community Forest Policy (CFP).
