Thammanat Says Number 42 Is Auspicious for Kla Tham Party, Plans 17 Rallies Across Bangkok

Thammanat said receiving number 42 is auspicious for the Kla Tham Party. Members are motivated to move forward with campaigning, preparing to hold 17 rallies across Bangkok.

On 28 Dec 2025 GMT+7 at Centara Life Hotel, Government Complex and Convention Center Chaeng Watthana, Lt. Col. Thammanat Prompao, Kla Tham Party's prime ministerial candidate, said after the party received number 42 that they are satisfied with this number. He noted that people likely already know the numbers of major political parties. He added that he discussed with party leader Narumon Phinyosinwat and Paweena Hongsakul, agreeing that the numbers assigned are auspicious for their party, which gives everyone encouragement to continue.

Moving forward, the plan includes meeting with citizens and organizing 17 rally stages throughout Bangkok. The party leader and strategy chairman will plan these events. He emphasized that this does not mean avoiding other rally opportunities, as he is a politician who believes in the necessity of campaigning to communicate with the public. Therefore, for other invitations, he may delegate others to attend.

Paweena Hongsakul stressed that the assigned number is considered lucky, and the number drawing event was enjoyable and warm.

Lt. Col. Thammanat added that they are doers rather than just talkers, with tangible policies. He affirmed they are not selling dreams. His long-standing focus has been on farmland rights, ensuring citizens have proper land ownership documents, as well as education policies aimed at enabling graduates to enter the workforce immediately.

Regarding social issues, Paweena was invited to assist with social welfare for all genders, ages, and vulnerable groups. He believes Paweena has sufficient experience and unique strengths. The party will also promote tourism development, turning secondary cities into primary urban centers, which is important.

He and Narumon are clear they will not join parties opposing certain principles. He affirmed he refuses to cooperate with politics that do not uphold the nation's pillars, a stance he has maintained since entering politics in 2019. Thus, the nation's pillars must be preserved.

Regarding the number of MPs, Lt. Col. Thammanat said the decision is up to the voters. He believes it is too early to predict how many seats the party will win.
