New Year 2026 Must Be Safe: Narumon Launches 11th Vocational-Transport Volunteer Project to Assist the Public

At 09:00 on 29 December 2025, Professor Dr. Narumon Pinyosinwat, Minister of Education, presided over the launch of the “Vocational–Transport Volunteers Helping the Public New Year 2026 Festival” project. The Office of the Vocational Education Commission has collaborated with the Department of Land Transport and networks from both public and private sectors to establish 150 vocational volunteer service points nationwide. Professor Dr. Narumon said this project has been ongoing for 11 years and serves as a New Year gift from the vocational education sector to the public. She expressed gratitude to the Department of Land Transport, the Ministry of Transport, and the administrators, teachers, and vocational students nationwide who dedicate their holiday time to staff volunteer service centers and fully support helping the public.Tags: [vocational education, public service, gratitude, holiday volunteering, community support]


The Education Minister added that over the years, vocational students and teachers have assisted the public in all situations, including during festivals and disasters. Their services include repairing motorcycles, cars, and hundreds of thousands of electrical appliances, helping to reduce costs and enhance public safety in a tangible way. She also thanked private sector partners for their continuous support, including automotive and energy companies that provide equipment, parts, and additional budgets. Furthermore, the Department of Land Transport has contributed more than 14 million baht in funding, enabling the project to fully achieve its goal of caring for the public during the New Year period.Tags: [vocational repair services, disaster relief, private sector support, government funding, public safety]

In closing, she expressed the hope that vocational students take pride in their work and secure real employment after graduation. She invited private sector employers to hire vocational students to jointly use vocational education as a key force in nation-building and shaping Thailand’s future.
