Pheu Thai candidates in Bangkok have complained that other candidate numbers were written over their campaign signs to cause voter confusion, while some signs in certain districts have been destroyed. They condemned these actions as illegal and politically unethical.
On 29 December 2025 GMT+7, Mr. Kawiwong Yuwijit, Pheu Thai candidate for Bang Na district in Bangkok, stated that inappropriate actions were found where other candidates' or party numbers were written over his campaign signs in several locations, causing confusion among the public. He has initially coordinated with police to review CCTV footage at those sites to identify the perpetrators and plans to take legal action accordingly. He emphasized that such actions should not occur and that competition should be based on policies, ideas, and work for the people rather than creating misunderstandings.
Meanwhile, Mr. Pongsakorn Rattanaruangwattana, Pheu Thai candidate for Bangkok's 14th district covering Bang Kapi and Wang Thonglang, also filed a police report at Lat Phrao Police Station. He reported that his campaign signs were destroyed near the entrance of Soi Nawamin 21, Khlong Chan subdistrict, Bang Kapi district, which constitutes a criminal offense under the law.
Reviewing CCTV footage revealed that on 25 December 2025 GMT+7 at 00:19, a group of four people got out of a white pickup truck and forcibly damaged Pheu Thai party signs, then replaced them with signs from another party. The candidates demand justice, describing these acts as illegal and politically unethical.
