
Election 2026: The Bangkok People's Party members resolved at their meeting to hold a primary vote endorsing Taepipob Limjitrakorn as the prospective MP candidate for Bangkok's District 33. He will register for the election tomorrow and start campaigning immediately.
On 29 December 2025 GMT+7, reporters from the party headquarters reported that members of the Bangkok People's Party held a meeting to conduct a legally mandated primary process to select a candidate for Member of the House of Representatives (MP) for Bangkok's Constituency 33 (Bang Phlat–Bangkok Noi). This was to replace the previous candidate who is currently subject to an arrest warrant. The results showed that the meeting unanimously endorsed Mr. Taepipob Limjitrakorn as the prospective MP candidate with a vote of 88 to 0. Following this, the candidate's name will be submitted to the party's executive committee for approval according to legal procedures.
Furthermore, on 30 December 2025 GMT+7, Mr. Pichon Chaowaphatwong, the party's executive committee member responsible for Bangkok elections, along with Ms. Pannikarn Vanich, the party's campaign assistant, will accompany the candidate to submit the MP registration documents at the W2 Sports Building, Bangkok Youth Center Thailand-Japan (Din Daeng) at 08:00. Afterwards, they will proceed to campaign in the Bang Khun Non area.
