The second day of party-list MP registration was quiet. The Thai Phitaktham Party took the auspicious moment to register their party-list MPs in the afternoon, submitting three prime ministerial candidates. They received party number 53 and are confident of winning MPs in six major provinces across four regions with 100% certainty.
On 29 Dec 2025 GMT+7, at the Centara Life Hotel, Government Complex and Convention Center, Chaeng Watthana, reporters described the atmosphere of the second day of registration for party-list members of parliament and prime ministerial candidates as quiet. No political parties arrived to submit applications throughout the morning. Then, at 14:30, Mr. Papakchanok Thabtiang, leader of the Thai Phitaktham Party, accompanied by several party executives, arrived to submit their party-list MP registration and prime ministerial candidates.
Mr. Papakchanok said he came to register today based on auspicious timing according to their beliefs. They received party number 53. The party nominated 10 party-list MP candidates and three prime ministerial candidates, with himself as the first candidate. The other two candidates remain undisclosed for now. He expressed confidence that the party will gain full trust from the people to serve in six provinces: Bangkok, Nakhon Ratchasima, Nonthaburi, Phetchabun, Udon Thani, and Nakhon Si Thammarat. The party offers policies that appeal to voters, including free education for 18 years, community-owned energy, cooperative welfare rights for people to sell products without relying on large department stores, and measures of public happiness.
However, the Election Commission Office will continue accepting registrations for party-list MPs and prime ministerial candidates until 16:30 on 31 Dec 2025 GMT+7.
