At 10:00 a.m. on 30 December 2025 GMT+7, Anutin Charnvirakul, Prime Minister and Minister of Interior, spoke at the Government House, offering New Year wishes for 2026 on the occasion of the last working day of the year. He thanked all parties, including the media, for providing information to the public nationwide about the government's activities during each period.
The Prime Minister continued, "I take this opportunity to sincerely wish all Thai people that all suffering, sorrow, and misfortune from the past year will end with the new year, starting from this very moment without waiting to cross into the new year. In 2026, the Year of the Horse, may it be a year in which everyone is energetic, adventurous, and confidently leaps forward with strength, achieving only victories, happiness, and good health."
When asked if he would ride a white horse and return as Prime Minister for another term in the Year of the Horse, the Prime Minister replied, "It depends on the people."
