On 30 Dec 2025 GMT+7 at 10:00 at the Government House, Anutin Charnvirakul, Prime Minister and Minister of Interior, spoke about the recent drug network arrests. Regarding reports of links to other politicians, he said not to worry about connections to politicians, officials, merchants, businessmen, or gangsters. He and the National Police Chief, the Secretary of the Anti-Money Laundering Office, and the Secretary of the Office of the Narcotics Control Board are following the principle of withholding names and focusing on behavior, which he had assigned earlier, to work confidently and fully. They do not know who is who but must act based on case files, behavior, money trails, and evidence. Whoever is found involved will face full action.Tags: [Prime Minister, drug arrests, law enforcement, anti-money laundering, narcotics control]

When asked if political parties linked to such cases should avoid using these issues to attack one another, Anutin replied by asking what "ginger" means, saying he is a modern person unfamiliar with the term. He added that the best approach is for all parties to work like the Bhumjaithai Party, focusing on their own work without attacking or demeaning others, especially avoiding rhetoric that harms opponents. He said applying reason will strengthen and make the upcoming election fair without below-the-belt attacks.Tags: [political parties, election conduct, Bhumjaithai Party, political rhetoric, fairness]

Regarding social media comments that the slogan of the Prachachon Party, "orange with no gray," has turned "black," Anutin said he does not want such comparisons and left it to social media to judge. On the current campaign atmosphere, he said there are only 38 days left until election day and urged all sides to focus on policies that benefit the public.Tags: [social media, political slogans, election campaign, public policies]

When asked whether the Bhumjaithai Party will open a market or hold a major rally in Bangkok, Anutin said they do not focus on large rallies. All Bhumjaithai candidates are familiar with their local areas and have schedules for where to go. If the party leader is available, he will attend. Currently, the Bhumjaithai Party has capable members assisting with the campaign.Tags: [Bhumjaithai Party, election campaign, candidate visits, Bangkok, political rallies]

Asked if he seemed confident about returning after the next election, Anutin said, "You say that again. Just focus on doing your best every day."Tags: [Prime Minister, election confidence, political statements]
