On 30 December 2025 at 10:00 a.m. at the Government House, Prime Minister and Interior Minister Anutin Charnvirakul gave an interview before the Cabinet meeting about the 72-hour condition, which will end at 12:00 p.m. He said the military or the Prime Minister himself would provide a statement. The Prime Minister revealed that the military and the National Security Council are likely to act according to the Joint Statement.
Regarding Cambodia's push for Thailand to join the Joint Boundary Committee (JBC) meeting by going directly to the Cambodian side, the Prime Minister said that they are monitoring the situation. Everything must be based on sincerity and the genuine intention to establish peace in the region. If so, Thailand is ready to discuss and find solutions together.
On the progress of China's offer to help Thailand with 20 million yuan for restoring damages to people and property, the Prime Minister said it was a proposal made during a meeting among the foreign ministers of Thailand, Cambodia, and China. Details have not been thoroughly discussed yet and require further consultation. Foreign Minister Sihasak Phuangketkaew returned only last night to continue talks.
