“Mae Noi” Defends “Jinny’s” Dignity, Asserts No Gender Should Be Disrespected, Thanks Supporters for Speaking Out

Khun Ying Sudarat defends the dignity of her daughter, Jinny Yotsuda, after receiving sexually harassing comments, condemning the violation of human dignity. She thanks everyone who has raised their voices and insists the perpetrators must be held accountable for their actions.

At 13:13 on 30 Dec 2025 GMT+7, Khun Ying Sudarat Keyuraphan, leader of the Thai Sang Thai Party, and mother of Ms. Yotsuda Lilapanyalert, also known as Jinny, addressed the case involving her daughter receiving sexually harassing messages viaFacebook, stating that as a mother, she firmly takes a stand against the sexual harassment directed at her daughter. Although her own health is not strong at the moment, she cannot remain silent. When the mother is ill, the daughter has taken on the role of spokesperson for the party and offered encouragement to the team with sincere dedication to the country and organization. Yet such an incident still occurred.

"I must rise to fulfill my role as a mother, fiercely protecting the dignity of my daughter and all women. Such incidents should never happen to anyone, regardless of gender. No one should have their human dignity insulted like this. The comments made are not mere jokes but a violation of human dignity, gender equality, and constitute legal offenses."

Khun Ying Sudarat concluded by expressing gratitude to everyone who has helped raise their voices in defense of Jinny and stood firmly for what is right. This call for action is not just for Jinny alone but serves to affirm that sexual harassment, in any form or against anyone, is unacceptable in Thai society. Perpetrators must be held socially and legally accountable with fairness.

Reporters noted that at 15:30, Jinny’s lawyer will file a complaint with investigators at Phahonyothin Police Station.
