The family of Jinny Yossuda, supported by the Thai Sang Thai Party's legal team, filed a complaint against Dome Pakorn Lam for a harassing comment targeting Khunying Sudarat, emphasizing that such conduct should not happen to anyone and pursuing legal action to establish a social standard in Thailand.
At approximately 15:30 on 30 Dec 2025 GMT+7, Pariyet Angurakitti, spokesperson for the Thai Sang Thai Party, along with Suchaiwut Chawsuangkluay, the party's legal head and lawyer, and Kitti Nilphai, a lawyer authorized by Miss Yossuda Lilapanyalert, also known as Jinny, daughter of Khunying Sudarat Keyuraphan, leader of the Thai Sang Thai Party, filed a complaint against Dome Pakorn Lam, the well-known artist, over inappropriate comments on a photo of Miss Yossuda.
Suchaiwut stated that Jinny, her family, and party members view Dome Pakorn Lam's actions as wrong and legally punishable. They filed the complaint to protect women's rights. Dome Pakorn Lam's conduct falls under the new Sexual Harassment Act, effective today, making him likely the first person charged under this law.
. The Thai Sang Thai Party's legal team noted that Dome Pakorn Lam, being a public figure, should be more aware of his actions than others. They filed the complaint to protect Jinny and to prevent such incidents against any woman. They revealed that Dome Pakorn Lam has admitted to the comment and has attempted to contact Jinny to apologize sincerely, not just out of legal obligation. His fame demands greater responsibility than the average person.
Meanwhile, the party believes Dome Pakorn Lam should demonstrate clearer remorse and sincerity beyond simply admitting guilt under pressure. The Thai Sang Thai Party's office is located at Soi Lat Pla Khao 46 and is easy to find. If sincere, they urge him to come forward and apologize.
Khunying Sudarat posted that her action is not for herself but to protect her daughter. She stressed that gender inequality has long existed. This complaint aims to set an example that women, as mothers, are essential and men must respect them to succeed. Many women still face harassment today. The party insists this case is not only for Jinny but for all women. When asked about settlement, the party's legal head said it depends on Dome Pakorn Lam's sincerity.
Pariyet said, this situation truly affects Jinny, but she is strong. This is not a political issue nor will it cause political unrest. It will not be exploited politically.
Reporters added that while the Thai Sang Thai Party's legal team was filing the complaint against Dome Pakorn Lam, Khunying Sudarat posted again onher personal Facebookstating, “The decision to file this complaint was made collectively by the family and Thai Sang Thai Party members after mature consideration. Such harassment should never happen to anyone, regardless of gender. Thai Sang Thai, as a political party, must protect against harassment and violations of human dignity in any form or against anyone. This legal action aims to set a precedent for Thai society to live together respectfully regardless of a person’s identity, status, or gender, and no one should be subjected to contempt or harassment by anyone.”
After filing the complaint at Phaholyothin Police Station, the Thai Sang Thai Party's legal team told the media that they have lodged charges against Dome Pakorn Lam for sexual harassment via computer systems under Penal Code Section 284/1 paragraph 3. Investigators plan to summon both Dome Pakorn Lam and Thai Sang Thai Party representatives for statements and discussions after the New Year.
