“Abhisit and Sakoltee” Campaign to Seek Opportunity for Democrats to Return and Solve Problems in Bangkok

“Abhisit and Sakoltee” led the “Bangkok New Sky” team to campaign in districts 1 and 2, together with candidates for Bangkok MPs in these districts, asking Bangkok residents to give the Democrat Party a chance to return and address problems for a better quality of life.

At 16:00 on 30 Dec 2025 GMT+7, Mr. Abhisit Vejjajiva, leader of the Democrat Party and prime ministerial candidate, along with Mr. Sakoltee Pattiyakul, deputy party leader responsible for Bangkok, led the “Bangkok New Sky” team and the “Ready Before Walking” group. Candidates for Bangkok MPs Mr. Peerawut Phimsamrdee (Fluke) for district 1 and Mr. Jesada Lertthanasan (Jump) for district 2 joined the campaign in their respective areas.

Mr. Sakoltee said that today the party leader joined the campaign to seek the support of people in districts 1 and 2, areas with which the leader has a long-standing bond. Returning to lead the Democrat Party again, he wanted to meet and tell residents that the leader is back and ready to work for them, emphasizing it is time for “Ending Poverty” and “No Tolerance for Gray Capital.”

District 1 is a key stronghold for the Democrat Party. This time, the party has nominated new candidates with knowledge, personality, and ideologies aligned with the party. The hope is that residents across all districts will see that the party’s executive committee has carefully selected the best-rounded individuals as choices for the people.

“The Democrat Party’s ‘Bangkok New Sky’ team and ‘Ready Before Walking’ group, along with candidates for all 33 Bangkok parliamentary districts, are ready to campaign and volunteer to work for all Bangkok residents, aiming to advance their quality of life beyond before.”

Mr. Sakoltee added he wants the public to trust all 33 Democrat Party candidates for Bangkok MPs because, upon reviewing their backgrounds, education, and work histories, they are qualified. All share the view that Bangkok residents currently face pollution and poor economic conditions. The entire ‘Bangkok New Sky’ team agrees they will not tolerate these problems affecting people’s livelihoods and are united in volunteering to work to make the country and people’s lives better.

“If Bangkok residents and people across the country have confidence in the Democrat Party’s work under the leadership of Mr. Abhisit, Mr. Karn Jatikavanich, Mr. Karn Dee Liaopairoj, and myself, please vote for the pink ballot, number 27, because the Democrat Party is ready to work with honesty, will not tolerate gray capital, and aims to end poverty.”
