Ruat Thai Sang Chart Party Urgently Removes Lawyer Anantarak from Membership He Plans to Sue Party Registrar for Secretly Deleting His Name

The Ruat Thai Sang Chart party urgently announced the removal of lawyer Anantarak from its membership effective 30 Dec 2025, following news that he registered as a candidate for Phuket MP constituency 1 today. The lawyer posted that he plans to sue the party registrar for secretly deleting his name and challenged a meeting at Phuket City Police Station.

On 31 Dec 2025, reporters noted that the official Facebook page of the Ruat Thai Sang Chart party posted the following message: "Lawyer Anantarak is no longer a member of the Ruat Thai Sang Chart party as of 30 Dec 2025, so he cannot register as an MP candidate for Phuket under the party."
This followed reports that lawyer Anantarak Petchhin registered as a candidate for Phuket MP constituency 1 under the Ruat Thai Sang Chart party earlier this morning.

Announcement to the Election Commission confirming lack of qualifications and request to withdraw candidacy

It was reported that the party’s executive committee had resolved to dismiss lawyer Anantarak from party membership on the night of 30 Dec 2025. The party notified the Election Commission after discovering issues with his background and unsuitability. Despite this, Anantarak proceeded to register as a candidate for Phuket MP under the party name, even though the party had already expelled him. This disqualifies him under Section 46 of the Election Act, which requires candidates to be party members. The party’s legal team has sent a formal letter to the Election Commission reaffirming that the party did not endorse his candidacy and that he had already lost membership, requesting his removal from the candidate list. The party’s deep background check revealed Anantarak’s involvement in various legal cases and controversies, including his past appearance on the popular "Hon Krasae" talk show that sparked public criticism. Concerned about damaging the party’s image and credibility, the party decided to remove him.

Lawyer Anantarak Petchhin, also known as Lawyer Rak, posted on Facebook that he plans to sue the party registrar for falsifying registration times and secretly deleting his name after office hours. He wrote, "My team checked the membership list until midnight; there’s no way my name could have been deleted on 30 Dec 2025. Under what law can a political party delete a member’s name? This double action may be illegal. I have strong evidence and will file a complaint. See you at Phuket City Police Station. I want to meet those seeking publicity regarding the list MP defamation case. #LawyerRak"
