Yotsanan led the Pheu Thai Party candidates to pay respects to Luang Pho Thongkham and the abbot of Wat Traimit before seeking blessings from Guan Yin at the Thien Fa Foundation, asking to form a unified government and stating that the central city area should not be a problem for their campaign.
At 15:30 on 31 Dec 2025 GMT+7, at Wat Traimit Witthayaram Worawihan. Mr. Yotsanan Wongsawat, Pheu Thai Party prime ministerial candidate. Mr. Julapan Amornwiwat, leader of the Pheu Thai Party and prime ministerial candidate. Mr. Jakrapong Saengmanee and Mr. Pongkwin Jungroongkit, deputy leaders of the Pheu Thai Party, visited the area to assist Dr. Yanakitt Huangsap, Pheu Thai candidate for the Bangkok MP, Constituency 1, in campaigning.
While entering Wat Traimit, monks from another temple presented Yotsanan with a Narai riding Garuda amulet and offered blessings. Yotsanan then paid respects to Somdet Phra Phutthachan (Santi Chuanpanyo), the abbot of Wat Traimit Witthayaram, who blessed him to devote himself to serving the people and the country for prosperity. The abbot also presented Yotsanan and his team with a Luang Pho Thongkham Buddha powder amulet before they proceeded to pay homage to the Golden Buddha of Sukhothai Traimit.
They later traveled to pay respects to Guan Yin at the Thien Fa Foundation. Afterward, when reporters asked what blessings he had requested, Yotsanan said: "I asked for strength to fight for all the people. I wish for both the party and its members to succeed and to establish a government of unity." When a reporter teased that previous Pheu Thai prime ministerial candidates had also visited the Thien Fa Foundation for blessings before elections and later became prime minister, Yotsanan smiled and said: "Thank you."
Afterward, Yotsanan and his team greeted locals and foreign tourists visiting Yaowarat Road, sampling popular food such as at the original Pla Khao Tom shop on Phang Nam Road and A-Ee Sweet Shop, which are considered part of Thailand's culinary soft power on Yaowarat Road. He also visited a former classmate from Suankularb School who owns a fruit shop and greeted street vendors along the entire length of Yaowarat Road.
Yotsanan gave an interview after today’s visit, stating: "Having experienced the atmosphere of Yaowarat Road, reviving Bangkok’s economy requires support from multiple sectors. We want to promote Thailand’s diverse cultures to attract tourists. Regarding concerns that the central city district might be difficult for Pheu Thai to win, I feel from my visit that it should not be a problem. The candidate has long worked in this area, combined with policies to improve transportation systems to bring in tourists, which will increase income for local residents. I believe we can win hearts and make next year a year of hope for everyone." .
