
The government spokesperson expressed gratitude to the public and business operators, revealing the success of the Co-Payment Plus program in boosting the year-end economy with over 84 billion baht circulated. More than 9.21 million people fully utilized their benefits.
On 1 Jan 2026 GMT+7, Mr. Siripong Angkasulkiat, spokesperson for the Office of the Prime Minister, stated that the government, through the Ministry of Finance, has summarized the results of the Quick Big Win economic stimulus policy "Co-Payment Plus," which has now ended. The program received strong cooperation and positive response from citizens and business operators, effectively stimulating the economy. From the program’s start on 29 Oct to 31 Dec 2025 GMT+7 at 23:00, total spending across all types of stores reached 84.1857 billion baht, with 9,211,118 people fully utilizing their allocated benefits.
Citizens spent 81.1513 billion baht at regular stores, while spending through food delivery platforms amounted to 3.0344 billion baht. A total of 999,350 stores passed data verification and joined the program. Additionally, 98,930 store owners and operators completed the upskill or reskill training courses offered under the program.
"The government thanks the public, stores, and all sectors involved in supporting the Co-Payment Plus program, a policy that helps reduce living costs for citizens, generate income, and boost liquidity for business operators, thereby circulating Thai baht within the economy during the year-end period," Mr. Siripong said.
