On 1 Jan 2026 GMT+7, Mr. Pita Limjaroenrat, former leader of the Move Forward Party, posted on Facebook inviting Thais overseas to take a poll regarding the 2026 election, saying, “It’s a new year, and we have a new mission together. We are planning a Meet & Greet #ThaisFarFromHome 2026. Please take this final poll to indicate which countries have Thais interested in the #2026Election this year.”
