The Thai Sang Thai Party breaks all conventional election sign rules by launching the highly creative "Lottery Savings" sign concept, allowing Bangkok MP candidates to scratch numbers on a tree. They revealed that after the New Year, there will be another big surprise.
On 2 Jan 2025 GMT+7, the Thai Sang Thai Party unveiled an extremely creative campaign sign featuring the "Lottery Savings" policy to promote saving. This idea turns Thais' love of lottery into a saving tool, presenting the concept of transforming money spent on lottery tickets—often lost—into a deposit that returns with interest upon retirement. This marks a fresh way to communicate an easy-to-understand, engaging policy, breaking away from the usual economic statistics-focused campaigns to focus on everyday life familiar to citizens.
In the photo, Mr. Tanrak Sataman, a Thai Sang Thai candidate for Bangkok MP, is scratching a number 48 on a tree, saying, "Scratch it, you'll definitely have savings." He added, "No more worries with Lottery Savings — you get back both principal and interest at ages 60 and 80."
The Thai Sang Thai Party also stated this is just a warm-up. After the New Year 2026, the party plans to create a new phenomenon with a large set of "ultra-innovative campaign signs" distributed widely to reinforce the party’s image as different and action-oriented. This new set will be even more creative and deeply address grassroots issues in unexpected ways.
