"Teng Natthapong" emphasizes that choosing the People’s Party means no switching sides. He insists that the orange vote will topple the gray, refuses to join the Kla Tham coalition, will not vote for Bhumjaithai, and calls for overwhelming support for the People’s Party, especially since there are no longer Senate members voting.
On 2 Jan 2026 GMT+7, in Mueang District, Nakhon Ratchasima Province, Mr. Natthapong Ruangpanyawut, leader of the People’s Party (Popchon), accompanied by Mr. Chat Supatwanit, Popchon’s candidate for Nakhon Ratchasima MP, and team, visited several local morning markets including Lak Mueang Market, Papa Market, Hua Rot Fai Market, and Mai Mae Kim Heng Market. He thanked the people of Nakhon Ratchasima for previously supporting the former Move Forward Party by winning three of 16 constituency seats in the 2023 election, before continuing to visit the areas of Mr. Piyachat Rujiprowasin, candidate for constituency 2, and Mr. Sutthisit Potthasak, candidate for constituency 3.
Mr. Natthapong spoke about campaigning in Nakhon Ratchasima, stating that people in constituency 1 are committed to choosing a party that stands for democracy. He noted that traditional politics often involves switching sides, but this will not happen with Popchon. He urged voters to make informed decisions, selecting candidates with firm principles who stand by the people. Straightforward politics can truly bring change. Popchon is an inclusive party that believes ordinary people can engage in politics through natural processes, which may invite criticism. By contrast, traditional politics involves vote-buying and party-switching, and some politicians implicated in corruption remain in power. Those parties lack transparent processes and are not open like Popchon. The party insists on grassroots principles where ordinary people do politics, aiming to improve these processes. All candidates have passed vetting and there are no issues. They are fully committed to the remaining five weeks to secure as many victories as possible.
Mr. Natthapong reiterated his position of refusing to vote for Bhumjaithai Party (BJT), especially its leader and prime minister candidate, Mr. Anutin Charnvirakul, and also refuses to cooperate with the Kla Tham Party. He said this election will decide whether to choose politics opposed to the gray area or support Popchon, which has clearly declared it will make orange votes topple gray. He urged voters to watch closely whether any party is involved in corruption or linked to gray capital networks. If confident in Popchon’s stance, voters should give the People’s Party an overwhelming mandate.
Mr. Natthapong added that although people have often trusted the Move Forward Party as the top choice, they have not yet had the chance to govern because of the Senate’s voting power. Now, that Senate no longer exists and has no voting rights for prime minister. Therefore, he urged voters to massively support the People’s Party to become number one. He is confident the party can form a government and promises not to disappoint. If governance fails, voters can punish Popchon in the next election cycle. This is the beauty of democracy, where decisions are in the hands of the people, not just the elite. The 8 Feb election is crucial because every vote truly matters and can determine the government’s formation. Popchon affirms it can address many issues facing citizens, backed by good policies, professional MPs, and management teams. Change starts by removing gray politics, developing a more equitable society, and making Thailand competitive globally. He called on all people in Korat to support the People’s Party by voting for Popchon with two ballots.
