On 2 Jan 2026 GMT+7, the New Opportunity Party caused a stir by launching Ms. Pannarath Panitsirinun, known as "Kaimook," lead singer of Prikthai and Miss Phrae 2025 (Road to Miss Thailand 2025). She is the grandniece of Dr. Tosaporn Serirak, the party's second-ranked prime ministerial candidate and third on the party list. Kaimook is now fully entering politics as the candidate for Bangkok's District 3, covering Bang Kho Laem and Yannawa. Previously, she gained political experience as an advisor to the chairman of the Public Health Commission and as a subcommittee member screening issues for consideration.
Dr. Tosaporn Serirak stated that the New Opportunity Party is ready to be a new choice for the public by bringing together professionals from various fields, including Jatuporn Boonpattana, party leader and former Minister of Commerce and former Permanent Secretary of the Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment; Praphat Jongsanguan, former Governor of the State Railway of Thailand with extensive experience managing large state enterprises; and several other party candidates such as Ms. Pannarath Panitsirinun. The party is keen to advance solutions and improve quality of life for the poor, the elderly, vulnerable groups, and public health—areas they believe other parties have not prioritized. The New Opportunity Party is preparing seriously to drive these issues forward.
