Dr. Ae Campaigns in Bangkok, Highlights Flood Solutions and Free Education up to Doctorate

"Dr. Ae" campaigned in Suan Luang and Prawet, highlighting solutions to flooding and plans to build the first public hospital in the district, while emphasizing a policy of free education through doctoral degrees.

On 3 January 2026, Suchatvee Suwansawat, leader of the Thai Khao Mai Party, led a team to the Aiemsombat Market and communities in Suan Luang district to hear residents' concerns about livelihoods and flooding. He met with the head of the Al-Kubro community to listen to problems, especially recurring floods from Khlong Phra Khanong. He said that flood disasters in Bangkok are urgent issues, and if not addressed at the source, losses could be much greater than the recent incident in Hat Yai, Songkhla. The Thai Khao Mai Party volunteers to resolve flooding once and for all with engineering expertise.

Suchatvee added that a key highlight from the visit was pushing for the construction of a public hospital in Suan Luang district, which currently lacks a state hospital to serve its dense population. He asked for trust, noting his prior success in building the King Mongkut's Institute of Technology Ladkrabang Hospital without relying on government budgets. Building a hospital in Suan Luang to serve the elderly population is feasible, and he knows how to make it happen.

Beyond infrastructure, Suchatvee revealed that the policies of “free education through to doctorate” and “student loan debt relief” have been overwhelmingly well received. These signal the party’s clear commitment to changing the country through education, ensuring Thai youth have a future without debt burdens.

When asked about concerns over established political champions in the area, the Thai Khao Mai Party leader affirmed he is not worried, as Bangkok residents are always ready to give opportunities to new parties and capable individuals.
