Parit Campaigns in Lat Krabang, Aiming to Secure Orange Flag for Prachachon Party After Narrow 4-Point Loss

Parit walked through the Lat Krabang morning market supporting Chumphon Lakkham’s campaign, aiming to successfully plant the orange flag after losing by 4 votes last election. He promoted a strategy to retain current districts and add new ones, pitching policies to give SMEs a boost and welfare for all age groups.

On 4 Jan 2026 GMT+7, Parit Vacharasinthu, spokesperson for Prachachon Party, along with Wallop Triruekgam, a party-list candidate and football influencer, visited Romklao Central Market to campaign for Chumphon Lakkham, candidate for Bangkok’s 20th district (Lat Krabang), number 7 for Prachachon Party. Many asked about the party’s policies, especially on livelihoods and welfare for people of all ages.

Chumphon said that since the 2023 election, he has continuously worked in the area, coordinating assistance for vulnerable groups who missed out on benefits, and running support programs for patients, all aligned with Prachachon Party’s policies. If elected, he pledges to fully push welfare policies.

Parit stated the election strategy for Prachachon Party this time is “retain current districts, add new districts.” In Bangkok last time, the Move Forward Party won 32 of 33 districts; Lat Krabang was the only district lost by 4 votes, where Chumphon was the previous candidate. He now seeks the public’s trust again.

Regarding policies to present to voters, if Prachachon Party forms the government, it will push the Bangkok Metropolitan Administration Act to unlock powers for the elected governor, giving more tools to better respond to citizens’ issues. The plan includes expanding Bangkok’s administration from one to two levels, with elected officials responsible for specific districts or groups of districts, to provide targeted public services. This allows the governor more time and focus to solve citywide problems.

To support SME growth, while recognizing the need to stimulate the economy through programs like 'Khon La Khrueng,' the party proposes combining this with a receipt lottery policy. When people buy from small shops, they receive lottery tickets as an added incentive to support small businesses. The party hopes that even after 'Khon La Khrueng' ends, the receipt lottery will continue to encourage purchases at small retailers.

Taking road safety seriously, Prachachon Party plans to push the Road Act to reorganize the country’s road hierarchy by usage type, define clear responsible agencies, set safety standards, and enforce laws more effectively. The party will centralize national accident data for accurate problem analysis and targeted resource allocation, while simultaneously promoting public transportation.

Afterwards, Parit and the candidates rode a campaign vehicle inviting people to vote in the election and referendum on 8 Feb 2026 GMT+7, emphasizing this as an opportunity for citizens to shape the government for the next four years and the future political system. They requested trust in voting for both Prachachon Party ballots to establish a Prachachon-led government and jointly build a Thailand that is neither gray nor unequal but equal and modern.
