The atmosphere was lively and friendly, with both the candidate and Sophon Sarum greeting the crowd and taking selfies with voters aged 60+, aiming to strengthen their foothold in Roi Et and raise the elderly allowance starting at 1,000 baht.
Mr. Tinakorn addressed the crowd, emphasizing his sincere intention to serve as the representative for Constituency 2 by promoting policies that address daily needs and effectively solve the community’s problems.
“I am not here to make empty promises. I ask for your trust so I can work earnestly for you. Every policy must be practical and truly reach the people,” Mr. Tinakorn said.
Mr. Sophon Sarum then gave a passionate speech, announcing Bhumjaithai Party’s core policies focused on caring for people of all ages, especially farmers and the elderly.
Mr. Sophon said, “Bhumjaithai prioritizes the livelihood of the people above all. If entrusted by the voters, we will push for a minimum price of 20 baht per kilogram for paddy rice to ensure fair income for farmers.”
He also spoke about reviving and expanding the Khon La Khrueng Plus program to help reduce living costs for citizens by stimulating the grassroots economy and ensuring money circulates within the community effectively.
Additionally, social welfare policies were announced, emphasizing comprehensive care for the elderly. “People aged 60 and above will receive a welfare allowance of 1,000 baht per month to help ease expenses and improve quality of life,” he said.
