Palang Pracharath Prime Minister Candidates Unveil Three Pillars to Tackle Livelihood and Strengthen Security

Trinuch and M.L. Korakasiwat lead Palang Pracharath into the 2026 election battle, unveiling three core pillars and highlighting 12 flagship policies aimed at resolving livelihood issues and enhancing security, affirming that all policies are feasible.

On 5 Jan 2026 GMT+7 at Villa de Beaux, Bangkok, the Palang Pracharath Party officially announced its party policies, with Ms. Trinuch Thienthong and Dr. M.L. Korakasiwat Kasemsri, the party’s two prime ministerial candidates, presenting the policy agenda.

Ms. Trinuch stated that Palang Pracharath’s work plan is based on three main pillars: “Stability, Recovery, and Care” to address livelihood challenges, security, and public hardships amid global and societal changes. The party has defined 12 key flagship policies, including:

1. Build fences and strengthen foundations for border security (border walls and secure villages).

2. Reclaim our land by cancelling MOU 43.

3. Punish corruption and gray capital decisively—those who cheat or exploit must face severe consequences.

4. People’s electricity (community solar power projects).

5. Community half-half scheme (million-baht villages).

6. Prosperous farmers (half-price fertilizer and guaranteed pre-sale before planting).

7. Strengthen capital, create opportunities, increase income for SMEs.

8. Thai people must have jobs (skilled Thai labor for the global market).

9. People’s card Extra with increased benefits.

10. Reduce living expenses nationwide (lower electricity bills, LPG prices, and fuel costs).

11. Short-term education aligned with current trends and job availability.

12. Social security debt relief.

“All policies are realistically implementable and will not burden the national budget, as the party has already identified funding sources. Many initiatives build upon previously successful projects, such as the People’s Card, which has tangibly alleviated living costs for low-income and vulnerable groups,” Ms. Trinuch said. Ms. Trinuch added,

Regarding the People’s Card Extra, monthly funds for essential goods will increase from 300 baht to 700 baht, along with welfare support for transportation, electricity, water, gas, and financial aid for the elderly and disabled. The party also supports the “Elderly Pracharath” program providing tiered age-based assistance and the “Mother Pracharath” project caring for vulnerable mothers and children from pregnancy to age six.

The party continues to promote the “Thai People Must Have Jobs” initiative, focusing on developing skilled workers in demand globally through training in modern agriculture, advanced technology, digital skills, and logistics, aiming to create current employment and enhance Thai workforce capabilities over the long term.
