Ta Narakorn Campaigns in Chiang Mai, Locals Appeal for Help with Economy and Livelihoods

"Ta Narakorn" campaigns in her hometown of Chiang Mai province. Locals are pleased that "Abhisit" has returned to lead the Democrat Party, asking for help in solving economic and livelihood problems.

On 5 Jan 2026 GMT+7, the first day of campaigning after the New Year 2026, Ms. Narakorn Tiyan, candidate for Chiang Mai MP, Constituency 1, Democrat Party, number 7, visited Muang Mai Market, a wholesale fresh market gathering agricultural products from farmers in the highland areas of Chiang Mai. Vendors and traders talked with her, requesting that the Democrat Party assist with economic issues and the livelihoods of residents, especially regarding agricultural products.

Ms. Narakorn had a surprise reunion with old friends from primary and secondary school whom she had not seen for 43 years; they embraced with fondness. Additionally, during her campaigning at Muang Mai Market, locals approached her expressing happiness that Mr. Abhisit Vejjajiva, the Democrat Party leader and prime ministerial candidate, had returned to lead the party again. They said they are still waiting for the Democrat Party to send a candidate to represent the people of Chiang Mai city.
