The Royal Thai Air Force is fully preparing for National Children's Day by bringing 22 types of aircraft for display along with aerobatic flying demonstrations on 10 Jan 2026 at the Don Mueang Air Force Base.
On 5 Jan 2026, the Royal Thai Air Force announced plans to create excitement for the 2026 National Children's Day event on Saturday, 10 Jan, from 07:00 to 15:00. Under the theme of inspiring children and youth, this year’s highlight is the AIR SHOW at Wing 601, Air Division 6, Don Mueang, and nearby areas.
The event will feature the exhibition of more than 22 types of military equipment and aircraft, including popular fighter jets such as the F-16 and Gripen, the primary jet trainer T-50, and the latest aircraft, the AT-6. Besides the smoke-painted aerobatic displays, ground activities include Fancy Drill performances, military dog shows, cadet fashion parades, and continuous prize giveaways throughout the day.
The main event area is located at Wing 601, Air Division 6, the Air Force Museum, and the Thung Sikhun small airport. Regional events will be held at the Air Cadet School (Saraburi), Kamphaeng Saen Aviation School, and various air wings nationwide, excluding Wings 1, 3, 4, 7, and 21.
To facilitate visitors, the Air Force will provide free air-conditioned shuttle buses from four parking locations: Aviation Park, Kantrathat Auditorium, Thong Yai Air Force Auditorium, and the Air Sergeant School. Visitors are reminded that drone flights are strictly prohibited over the event area for flight safety. Bringing hazardous items such as balloons, weapons, sharp objects, flammable materials, and pets into the venue is also forbidden.
