Akanat Calls the 2026 General Election a Historic Moment for Bhumjaithai Party, Showcases Dream Team of Professionals and Outsiders, Emphasizes Proven Track Record of Delivering Promises

"Akanat" described the 2026 general election as a historic moment for the Bhumjaithai Party, revealing a dream team of professionals and outsiders, and emphasized that the party has consistently proven it acts on its promises, aiming to make dreams and hopes come true.,

5 Jan 2026 GMT+7 Mr. Akanat Phromphan, a party-list candidate and the campaign commander for Bhumjaithai Party in Bangkok, revealed his reasons for joining the party, saying that if it had been 5 to 10 years ago, he probably would not have joined Bhumjaithai. But now, having made the decision, he is fully committed to working with the party because he believes the party has evolved significantly.

He further stated that many people used to say the party was just a gathering of powerful families, which he disagrees with. He noted that party leader Anutin Charnvirakul has opened the party to outsiders like Mrs. Supachai Suthamphan, Mr. Akanit Nititanprapas, and Mr. Sihasak Puangkaew, allowing them to contribute. This is the kind of politics he wants and the future he envisions for the country — a politics open to professionals because national problems are too big for politicians alone; they must invite outsiders to help think and act together, as Anutin has done.

"This time, Bhumjaithai has exceeded expectations. It is rare in history for a political party before elections to clearly declare that if it forms the government, it will assign three key deputy prime minister positions, along with strategic ministries—Commerce, Finance, and Foreign Affairs—to outsiders and professionals. This openness is sincere, with three individuals whose work has been proven, earning public trust. This is a new development I see as progress for Bhumjaithai."

Toward the end, Mr. Akanat added, that the most important thing about Bhumjaithai is its consistent record of delivering on its promises. Since its founding over 10 years ago, it has proven that it follows through on what it says. He said he shares this mindset because he is tired of elections where politicians deceive people with dreams and hopes—promising everything but never fulfilling those promises. He hopes that this time, Bhumjaithai will be the party that turns the dreams and hopes promised during elections into reality.
