Julanun led the Pheu Thai party’s campaign in Kalasin, announcing debt forgiveness and a 3-year moratorium, guaranteeing a 30% profit margin for farmers. He expressed belief that Red Shirt supporters’ loyalty remains unchanged.
On 5 Jan 2026 GMT+7, Julanun Amornwiwat, leader of the Pheu Thai Party and prime ministerial candidate, along with Nattawut Saikua, director of the Pheu Thai family, led party leaders and the "Pheu Thai on Tour" campaign team to Kalasin province. They held major rallies at Samphuan Phatthana School in Nakhu district and Ban Huai Phueng School in Huai Phueng district to support parliamentary candidates amid large crowds of Red Shirt supporters and local farmers.
Julanun highlighted key policies to break the chains of poverty for Kalasin residents, focusing on resolving debt and agricultural product prices. The plan includes debt forgiveness and assistance for bad debtors while supporting good debtors to continue by offering a 3-year moratorium on agricultural loans up to 500,000 baht. This aims to sustain farmers’ livelihoods, guaranteeing a 30% profit margin on agricultural products to ensure farmers never incur losses. The target prices are 15,000 baht for jasmine rice and 10,000 baht for white rice, along with distribution of fertilizer and quality seed coupons. To combat scammers and drugs, the "World Surrounds Cambodia" strategy will coordinate international cooperation to eradicate online fraud and drug problems within a single government term.
Meanwhile, Nattawut Saikua delivered a rallying speech to boost morale among Red Shirt supporters, inviting them to return and fight alongside Pheu Thai once more. He stated that the enthusiastic atmosphere today shows Kalasin’s unwavering support for Pheu Thai and expressed confidence in winning all six parliamentary seats in the province.
Toward the end, Julanun endorsed candidates Chanauth Utto (No. 3, District 6) and Thinkorn Sritaret (No. 1, District 5), urging voters to cast ballots for number 9 and elect Pheu Thai nationwide on 8 Feb to send Professor Dr. Yotsanan Wongsawat to the prime ministership and implement economic policies effectively.
