The New Opportunity Party visited Bang Son Railway Market, where vendors complain about soaring living costs making life difficult. They promote Nopawut Julsai, candidate for Bangkok MP District 7, aiming to enter parliament and push sustainable community market development policies.
On 6 Jan 2026 GMT+7, New Opportunity Party leaders, led by Ms. Anusaree Tabsuwan, Deputy Party Leader, and Mr. Sirawit Chuangsa, party spokesperson, campaigned for candidate Nopawut Julsai, running for Bangkok MP District 7, number 12, at Bang Son Railway Market in Bang Sue district. They gathered public feedback from residents, vendors, and entrepreneurs in this key northern Bangkok market, a grassroots economic area reflecting real livelihood and quality-of-life issues.
Ms. Anusaree revealed that the main problems voiced by the public and market vendors include rising living costs outpacing income; the market’s lack of systematic development in cleanliness, drainage, and safety; limited access to capital for small traders; and insecurity regarding their selling spaces.
Therefore, the New Opportunity Party plans to push concrete policies to support Bang Son residents and the Bang Son Railway Market, consisting of the following:
1. Organize and develop the community market with participation, improving cleanliness, safety, roofing, lighting, and drainage to meet standards without passing costs onto vendors.
2. Reduce costs and increase income opportunities for small traders by supporting low-interest financing, promoting online sales, digital payment systems, and marketing the market as a source of quality goods in Bang Sue district.
3. Address living cost problems through a strong grassroots economy by supporting community products, fair-priced raw materials, and linking nearby markets to boost local purchasing power.
4. Enhance safety and quality of life in the market by increasing lighting, CCTV surveillance, and managing traffic around the market to ensure the safety of vendors and the public.
Candidate Nopawut Julsai, running for Bangkok MP District 7, number 12, stressed that the New Opportunity Party adheres to the principle of “listen sincerely, act genuinely, solve effectively.” He is committed to bringing local voices into parliamentary action to make Bang Son Railway Market sustainable, ensure stable incomes for vendors, and improve quality of life in Bang Sue district. He urged voters to consider the New Opportunity Party’s policy: “Choose New Opportunity, Create Thailand’s Opportunity.”
