The Thai Khao Mai Party campaigned at Prachuap Khiri Khan Technical College, declaring readiness to elevate vocational students into a high-skilled global workforce.
On 7 January 2026, Mr. Kongkiat Kornsut, Secretary-General of the Thai Khao Mai Party, along with party executives Dr. Setthakorn Wongarayasukul (known as K Burhanphon) and lawyer Netithorn Pornpitakshit, visited Prachuap Khiri Khan Technical College to meet with the public, teachers, parents, and vocational students. The students expressed concerns about post-graduation employment, noting that most jobs are unstable and offer low income.
Mr. Kongkiat Kornsut stated that the Thai Khao Mai Party has a policy to develop vocational students into high-skilled workers who will be key drivers of Thailand’s future economy by ensuring learners are truly skilled, deeply knowledgeable, competent in their work, and receive stable incomes.
Additionally, there is a policy for graduates to enhance their existing skills or learn new ones (Upskill/Reskill) through a Digital Transformation platform that connects data from the Ministry of Education, vocational and higher education institutions, and employers. This will help ensure skills and knowledge align closely with actual labor market demands.
Dr. Setthakorn Wongarayasukul said the party plans to link vocational education institutions with global technology institutes and leading businesses so that vocational students can learn up-to-date technology that matches employer needs, increasing opportunities for stable employment and higher income.
Lawyer Netithorn Pornpitakshit, head of the party’s legal team, stated that the party supports enhancing protection and fair treatment for vocational workers to improve the quality of life for skilled technicians working in factories and their own workshops.
This visit attracted interest from vocational students who met Dr. Setthakorn, also known as “K Burhanphon,” and “P’ Aek,” the real-life figure from the film "Legend of Vocational School 90s Era."
At the same time, the Thai Khao Mai Party executives helped campaign alongside the party’s House of Representatives candidates in Prachuap Khiri Khan province’s three districts: Mr. Saranon Yaibamrung (District 1), Ms. Mingkhwan Muangmu (District 2), and Police Colonel Ekkarat Hunnam (District 3). They received strong interest and warm welcomes from local residents.
