Pipat Denies Attacking Anyone, Explains Reclaiming 30 Years of Opportunities for the South Bhumjaithai Hopes to Achieve Regional Parity

Pipat explained that reclaiming 30 years of opportunities for the South is not aimed at attacking anyone but reflects reality to promote equality. He urged the public to consider Bhumjaithai as a new representative to foster development from now on.

8 Jan 2026 GMT+7 Mr. Pipat Ratchakitprakarn, Bhumjaithai Party's southern campaign leader, clarified the case concerning being mentioned about reclaiming 30 years of opportunities for the South. Regarding accusations of discrimination or political personal references, he respectfully stated that he did not intend to attack anyone personally. What he has consistently communicated is the structural fact that over the past 30 years, other regions in the country have developed continuously, while the South—an area generating significant national income through tourism, trade, and logistics—has received infrastructure investment that is disproportionate to its potential.

Mr. Pipat further noted that although national leaders from the South have held office multiple times, structural infrastructure outcomes have not concretely elevated the South to catch up with other regions. He believes this truth should be frankly discussed to enable future solutions. Regarding interpretations suggesting Bhumjaithai would develop only the South if elected, Mr. Pipat emphasized this was not his intended message. Rather, if Bhumjaithai gains public trust, it will expedite addressing the South's lagging areas to achieve equal opportunities as soon as possible.

“I want to stress that the opportunities lost over the past 30 years should be reclaimed. I invite residents of the 14 southern provinces to vote for Bhumjaithai as their representative so we can collectively vote to bring budgets back to the South to match other regions as quickly as possible.”

Regarding criticism of selective discrimination, the Bhumjaithai southern leader stated that advocating for the South's development is because he represents the people of the 14 southern provinces, while Bhumjaithai oversees national policy and overall Thai development under the leadership of party leader Anutin Charnvirakul. As the appointed southern campaign leader, he cannot campaign in other regions, but ultimately all policies must be integrated and presented in parliament.

Mr. Pipat concluded by saying that, as the party's southern campaign leader, he asks residents of the 14 southern provinces to consider Bhumjaithai's campaign policies carefully. If the party's policies resonate with the southern people, he hopes they will support both the candidates and Bhumjaithai Party.
