The government will open the Government House to celebrate National Children's Day 2026 on Saturday, 10 Jan 2026. The Permanent Secretary of the Prime Minister's Office revealed a full range of activities, prizes, and gifts designed to bring joy to youth while promoting learning.

On 8 January 2026, Mrs. Yupa Taweewattanakitboworn, Permanent Secretary of the Prime Minister's Office, announced that on the occasion of National Children's Day 2026, the Prime Minister's Office, through the Office of the Permanent Secretary (OPS), invites children and their guardians to join activities on Saturday, 10 January 2026, from 07:00 to 15:00 at the Government House. A variety of skill-promoting activities and prizes have been prepared to bring happiness and learning opportunities to all children.

For National Children's Day 2026, the Prime Minister has given the motto: “Love Thailand, Care for the World,” aiming to instill in children and youth a sense of Thai identity, love, and pride in their country, alongside awareness of social, environmental, and global responsibilities—fundamental values for growing into quality citizens in the future.

The Permanent Secretary added that this year's National Children's Day event, organized by the Office of the Permanent Secretary, has received excellent cooperation from government and private organizations. Creative games and choir singing by students will also be featured, along with activities to promote and develop youth musical skills, creative workshops like handmade book and personal calendar making, fabric bag coloring, and bead stringing. Gifts and prizes will be distributed to participants.

, Meanwhile, at the tents and activity booths, government and private sectors will jointly host activities and distribute gifts and prizes throughout the day. Activities include various games and creative play, coloring, and other skill-enhancing activities. Food and beverages for children and youth will be provided, such as nuggets, donuts, Milo products, malt chocolate milk, ice cream, sausages, waffles, drinking water, and various snacks. Mobile dental services will also be available to check children's oral and dental health.

Regarding exhibitions, these will aim to enhance learning and instill good values in children and youth, focusing on Thai identity, patriotism, equality, creative use of technology, and honoring the monarchy. For example, an exhibition of the national tri-color flag will be held to foster pride in the nation and important national symbols.

In closing, the Permanent Secretary invited parents to bring their children to participate in the National Children's Day 2026 activities at the Government House area to share happiness, promote learning, and provide opportunities for children and youth to develop their full potential, laying an important foundation for their growth as key contributors to the country's future.
