Julpan sharply criticized Anutin, urging him to stop deceiving the public, pointing out that two months have proven the government's failure. What was promised was not delivered as stated.
On 8 Jan 2026 GMT+7, Julpan Amornwiwat, leader of the Pheu Thai Party, delivered a fiery speech attacking the government led by Prime Minister and Bhumjaithai Party leader Anutin Charnvirakul. He said the election on 8 Feb is a decisive moment for the country, allowing no more trial and error.
The Pheu Thai leader added that the mere two months of Anutin’s administration have demonstrated failure in all areas, including flood management in Hat Yai and organizing the SEA Games. The so-called “speak and act” motto proved hollow, with actions not matching words—such as abandoning constitutional amendments and raising doubts about interference in key cases like the Senator vote-buying scandal and the Khao Kradong case, which show no progress.
“Stop lying to the people; even deceiving your own party is bad enough. Your time is up,” Julpan said, expressing confidence that Pheu Thai will bring Yotsanan Wongsawat into government as the next prime minister to repair the wounded nation.
