Royal Decree Relieves Three Special Royal Guard Officers from Duty

A royal decree has been issued relieving three special royal guard officers—General Chainana, Lieutenant General At, and Lieutenant General Kittiphan—from their duties as royal guards.


On 8 January 2026, the Royal Gazette website published the announcement.The royal decree announces the dismissal of the special royal guard officers from their duties as royal guards.It states that His Majesty graciously commands the relief of the special royal guard officers from their duties as royal guards.

Under the authority of Section 7 of the 2017 Protection Act, Sections 6, 7, and 11 of the 1937 Royal Guard Act, and Clause 6 of the 2016 Ministry of Defence regulations on royal guard appointments, His Majesty has graciously ordered the relief of three special royal guard officers from their royal guard duties. They are as follows:

1. General Chainana Nakerd

2. Lieutenant General At Singhatsatit

3. Lieutenant General Kittiphan Chupipat

This relief is effective from 29 December 2025.
Announced on 7 January 2026, the 11th year of the current reign.
