This includes backing the expansion of capabilities for the Stryker wheeled armored vehicle units and increasing education and training courses continuously.
Both sides agreed that the Cobra Gold and Balance Torch joint exercises are important demonstrations of cooperation to deter regional conflict. Additionally, they discussed support for electronic warfare technologies, drone and anti-drone systems, intelligence, and support weapons to boost national defense capabilities and sovereignty against aggression. The Thai side also raised concerns about the South China Sea situation, which requires close monitoring, and expressed hope for cooperative efforts among all parties for future regional stability. The Army reaffirmed its commitment to peace by strengthening relations with friendly nations and preparing to address all forms of threats to protect sovereignty and build sustainable regional security.
