“Yotchanan” Takes on Role as Father of Two, Visits Night Safari with Family for Children’s Day 2026

Dr. Chen Yotchanan, Pheu Thai’s prime ministerial candidate, took on the role of father of two by bringing his family to the Night Safari to celebrate Children’s Day 2026.

At 10:00 a.m. on 10 Jan 2026 GMT+7 at Chiang Mai Night Safari, Professor Dr. Yotchanan Wongsawat, Pheu Thai’s prime ministerial candidate, spent the weekend with his family—his wife Nantakan Silsaveekul and their two children—visiting to relax and take part in activities for National Children’s Day.

Reporters noted the atmosphere was simple and friendly. Professor Dr. Yotchanan and his family queued to buy tickets and waited to visit various zones alongside other citizens without using any special privileges, which led many attendees to warmly greet them and request photos.

Besides walking around to see animals, riding vehicles to view rare species, and feeding animals, the highlight was father Yotchanan joining his children and other kids in fun activities. These included sitting in a circle coloring plaster dolls and demonstrating soccer skills by scoring goals, competing with other children present, which drew cheers and smiles from nearby parents. Throughout, attendees frequently asked to take photos.

Normally, during free time away from work, Professor Dr. Yotchanan prioritizes family time, often taking his wife and children to outdoor activities, especially nature learning centers, zoos, or educational parks to support his children’s development. This has been a regular part of his routine.
