Satit Confident of Democrat Partys Eastern Revival, Eyes Winning All Constituencies with Public Trust in Honest Politics

Satit Pitutecha is confident that the Democrat Party's support in the eastern region is recovering, with Rayong, Chanthaburi, and Trat likely to win parliamentary seats in every constituency. He noted the public's trust in honest politics and positive response to the "Born and Get 65,000 Baht Immediately" policy.

On 10 Jan 2026 GMT+7, Mr. Satit Pitutecha, Chairman of the Candidate Selection Committee and Director of the Eastern and Metropolitan Region Election for the Democrat Party, said while visiting Rayong, Chanthaburi, and Trat to assist party candidates and listen to local opinions, that after continuous engagement with the public, he is confident the Democrat Party will receive significantly better support this election compared to the last.

Mr. Satit stated that public response in the eastern provinces—especially Rayong, Chanthaburi, and Trat—is clearly improving. This includes the party's traditional voter base, who continue their support, and former supporters who had shifted to other parties but are now returning to trust the Democrat Party again due to its clear political stance, principled honest work, and past achievements in the eastern region.

Furthermore, Mr. Satit noted that local people have shown clear interest and support for the Democrat Party’s policies, particularly those related to family and child welfare, which are current concerns for the public, including the policy "Born and Get 65,000 Baht Immediately". This policy aims to ease family expenses from the day a child is born and to provide basic equal protection for all Thai children.

Mr. Satit added that another key reason for the public’s renewed trust in the Democrat Party is its firm stance on honest politics: opposing corruption, resisting gray capital, and rejecting politicians with corrupt behavior from entering the political system. This aligns with what the public desires in the current political climate.

“The Democrat Party affirms it will conduct politics centered on the people's interests, solving livelihood issues, reducing living costs, and ensuring security for families and the nation's future.”

Mr. Satit expressed confidence that, based on public response in Rayong, Chanthaburi, and Trat, the Democrat Party has a strong chance to succeed in the election and win parliamentary seats in the eastern region in a significant way this time.
