It drew great interest from youth, families, and the public, creating an atmosphere full of fun, liveliness, and children's smiles throughout the day.
This year’s event reflects the ministry’s commitment to providing accessible learning spaces in science, technology, and innovation through activities focused on “learning by doing” combined with fun, inspiration, and tangible future skill development for Thai youth.
The event officially opened at the HE Ministry premises, with Mr. Surasak Pancharoenworakul, Minister of Higher Education, Science, Research and Innovation, presiding over the ceremony. His presence underscored the importance of human capital development and preparing Thai youth to keep pace with the future world.
The activities were designed to suit youth of all ages, including science workshops and experiments, exhibitions showcasing advanced technology and innovation, performance stages giving children the opportunity to showcase their talents and creativity, as well as creative zones and prize games such as treasure pits, ring toss, egg scooping, and many special activities, creating a fun, modern, and memorable learning experience.
Additionally, an Open House introduced the roles and missions of agencies under the Ministry of Higher Education, Science, Research and Innovation, featuring technology showcases from affiliated units. This allowed youth and families to engage with real-world knowledge and gain a clear vision of the future of education and careers in science and technology.
The “HE For Kids – Skill for Future” event represents another success in planting seeds of learning, sparking creativity, and inspiring Thai youth to realize that science and technology are not distant matters but key drivers of the country’s future development.
The Ministry of Higher Education, Science, Research and Innovation expresses gratitude to all sectors, network agencies, youth, and families who contributed to the successful 2026 National Children's Day event and helped create lasting memories for children across Thailand.
